How is AI changing Marketing?

How do you feel about AI? Ai is changing how people see the world. This could mean a piece of writing, music or even television adverts. AI stands for "Artificial intelligence" and this statement was first used in 1955 by a man named John McCarthy. It was established in a Dartmouth workshop. This is what people call the "birth" of AI, but this vision of Ai has been developed over the years and isn't the same way we know "artificial intelligence" now. The problem that occurs with Ai, does it hinder marketing or can it help this industry grow? That is what I will be exploring in this post. 

The positives of Artificial intelligence 

AI tool can be a cheaper option for small business to help them grow their brand and how they want to market the business to potential customers. It is also time friendly because it is quicker to use Ai for marketing then organic marketing. Tailored marketing is also a big positive because big brands like Netflix and Amazon Prime are using Ai for their customers, when they go on their website and streaming service the customer can see what they have generated for them to watch from what they have already been enjoying previously. This leads into data collection and this is gathered by Ai.  

The negatives of Artificial intelligence 

Creativity and imagination are being lost in the age of Ai. An example of this is businesses using Ai at Christmas to make their television adverts. This is catastrophic for the marketing world because Christmas is the busiest time of year and businesses use this time to bring in profit without having long-term customers. This could affect this processive being there is less emotionally storytelling in the advertisements so it becomes less relatable and personal, this could affect sales and the brand of the business. 


what could we to make marketing personal and relatable again while still using AI? 

  • Could use the Ai tool for a draft for campaign, not the outcome  

  • Focus on connecting to the audience 

  • Use customers stores to show relatability  

  • Use the Ai tool to explore and make the businesses marketing grow and not just to make the process quicker and less time consuming.  


What does Ai mean for the industry of Marketing?  

Artificial intelligent can be a hindrance on the industry because of the job roles that will be affected. The job roles that will be affective: 

  • Marketing data analyst  

  • Digital marketing analyst 

  • Marketing insight analyst  

  • Copyrighters  

  • Simple designers  


Conclusion  

To conclude this blog, I would like to make a statement and say that Ai is going to the future. This can be for the good of the marketing and what it is going to become, or it could risk the realism of marketing and how businesses interact with their customers.
